Our 59th Season

Every great journey leaves us with memories. Some are captured in photographs. Others are captured in music.

The Anderson Symphony Orchestra’s 59th Season, Postcards in Sound, invites audiences to travel through a collection of unforgettable musical destinations. Under the artistic leadership of Daniel Wiley, each concert offers a unique experience—an invitation to explore new worlds, revisit cherished traditions, and discover the stories that connect us all through music.

The season begins with the elegance and spectacle of Masquerade!, featuring a collaboration with Anderson Young Ballet Theatre, and continues with the timeless beauty of Handel’s Messiah, a cherished holiday tradition. Holiday Pops returns with festive favorites and family-friendly magic, while Kaleidoscope showcases dazzling orchestral color and outstanding young artists in partnership with Anderson University.

In the spring, audiences will enjoy the intimate and immersive atmosphere of Italian Café, a concert experience unlike any other, before concluding the season with the epic adventure and iconic music of Star Wars!—a thrilling celebration for audiences of all ages.

Along the way, Season 59 offers moments of wonder, reflection, joy, and discovery. From beloved masterworks to imaginative new experiences, each performance serves as a musical postcard—capturing a place, a memory, an emotion, or a story worth sharing.

Whether you are a longtime subscriber or attending your first ASO concert, we invite you to join us for a season that celebrates the power of music to transport, inspire, and bring people together.

Pack your imagination and come travel with us.

Welcome to Postcards in Sound.

Today, the ASO has grown into a vibrant ensemble of professional musicians, many of whom make their living in the performing arts. In 2025, the orchestra welcomes Daniel Wiley as its new Artistic Director and Conductor, ushering in an exciting new chapter of artistic excellence and innovation.
