Our 58th Season
The Anderson Symphony Orchestra is proud to announce the appointment of Daniel Wiley as its new Artistic Director and Conductor, following a yearlong national search and a season of guest appearances by five exceptional finalists.
Daniel Wiley has been recognized for his innovative programming, clear and expressive conducting style, and his ability to forge strong connections with both musicians and audiences. His concert with the ASO—Fate and Destiny—which opened the 2024–2025 season and featured works by Simon, Mozart, and Tchaikovsky, was widely praised by patrons and performers alike, sparking an immediate and lasting rapport.
Our 58th concert season is set to grace the renowned Paramount Theatre—a cherished emblem of beauty and history—beginning in September 2025. As anticipation builds, we look forward to sharing a season filled with unforgettable performances and meaningful experiences under the inspired leadership of our newly appointed Artistic Director and Conductor, Daniel Wiley. Founded in 1967 by visionary leaders at Anderson University, the Anderson Symphony Orchestra gave its first performance with a group of dedicated community volunteers. Today, the ASO has grown into a vibrant ensemble of professional musicians, many of whom make their living in the performing arts. In 2025, the orchestra welcomes Daniel Wiley as its new Artistic Director and Conductor, ushering in an exciting new chapter of artistic excellence and innovation.
